John K. Eldredge Jr

General Manager

John worked in at The Eldredge Companies Inc. as he grew up. After high school John worked for the company in many capacities until he chose to join the US. Navy in 1995.

John received training and began his naval career as an Aviation Electronics Technician working on CH-46 and MH-60S’s combat helicopters. He rapidly rose in rank over his ten year career to E6. John received several distinguished service awards as he served on USS Roosevelt for two deployments, including one deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom after the 9/11 attacks. During his last tour in the Navy, John was promoted to the position of Squadron Quality Assurance Representative qualified in all aircraft systems which included hydraulics, airframe and electronics.

John re-joined The Eldredge Companies in 2005 were he worked on the floor as a vehicle repair technician. He was promoted to Fabrication / Welding Supervisor overseeing the manufacturing, repair and maintenance of all types of trucks and equipment in 2007. He was also responsible for training, specifying shop equipment and overseeing efficient operation of the fabrication shop.

In 2010, John was promoted to the position of Fleet Manager / Shop Manger. He is responsible for the productivity of both the first and second shift and the maintenance and repairs of the company’s vehicles.

In 2015 John was promoted to the position of General Manager, when John Sr Retired. John Is an active member of the American Trucking association, and regularly attends Technical Maintenance council meetings and other organized events to stay current with new issues and solutions to the trucking industry.
