Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc. is one of two operating companies of The Eldredge Companies. Mr. Robert C. Eldredge is the sole owner of The Eldredge Companies, Inc.
In 1985 the original company, Eldredge Inc. was reorganized and Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc. was created along with several other entities. John Sr. became the president of Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc. which was created as an operating company for The Eldredge Companies, Inc. in 1985.
In 1998, The Eldredge Companies sold one of it’s operating companies, Eldredge Waste Water Management, Inc. to EarthCare Company. John Sr went to work for EarthCare as the Fleet Coordinator where he was responsible for all of the companies 1,200 plus vehicles located throughout the United States.
John left EarthCare Co, in 2001 and accepted a position as General Manger with Fleet Environmental Service, West Chester PA. Division. Fleet Environmental Services is an environmental remediation and spill response company. With John’s participation and involvement, Fleet Environmental Service established itself as a major environmental service supplier in the Mid-Atlantic region.
With a passion for equipment, John returned to The Eldredge Companies as the General Manager for Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc until his retirement in 2015
In 2015 John Jr was promoted to the position of General Manager, when John Sr Retired. John Is an active member of the American Trucking association, and regularly attends Technical Maintenance council meetings and other organized events to stay current with new issues and solutions to the trucking industry.
Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc. presently employs a General Manager, Truck Sales / Service Manager, and a Truck Parts / Company Fleet Manger, two supervisors an office assistant and ten service repair technicians.
We operate two shifts a day, five days a week providing services to Eldredge company vehicles and to non-company owned vehicles. The present ration of Eldredge company vehicle repairs to non- company owned vehicles repairs is 70 percent non-owned to 30 percent company owned.
