John K. Eldredge Sr

Retired

John Sr. served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1973 as an Aviation Electrician’s Mate. Upon honorable discharge, John went to work for Emco Wheaton, Conneaut OH. where he worked as a parts fabricator / welder in the manufacturing of fluid handling systems from 1973 to 1975. John joined the family business in 1975 as a vacuum truck operator. In 1978 the family began manufacturing it’s own vacuum trucks to be used in it’s non hazardous vacuum truck service where John was active in the design and manufacturing of the trucks.

Under John’s direction, Eldredge began manufacturing vacuum trucks and vacuum equipment for other end users. Eldredge also began manufacturing vacuum equipment and complete pump assemblies for major tank manufactures throughout the United States.

John Sr. became the president of Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc. which was created as an operating company for The Eldredge Companies, Inc. in 1985.

In 1998, The Eldredge Companies sold one of it’s operating companies, Eldredge Waste Water Management, Inc. to EarthCare Company. John went to work for EarthCare as the Fleet Coordinator where he was responsible for all of the companies 1,200 plus vehicles located throughout the United States.

John left EarthCare Co, in 2001 and accepted a position as General Manger with Fleet Environmental Service, West Chester PA. Division. Fleet Environmental Services is an environmental remediation and spill response company. With John’s participation and involvement, Fleet Environmental Service established itself as a major environmental service supplier in the Mid-Atlantic region.

With a passion for equipment, John returned to The Eldredge Companies as the General Manager for Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc until his retirement in 2015
